Machine Translation
SmartMATE Translation incorporates one of the most versatile Machine Translation (MT) environments in the market. Our technology allows SmartMATE to act as a middleware between multiple MT engines and the output user interface. In addition to having developed and customised MT engines since 2011, we set out to deliver a user interface that allows for multiple MT sources to be working together, so that our customer can choose to have different engine suppliers depending on the language or the type of content. Our user interface allows for the delivery of the MT output either via APIs to any content management or translation management system or via a user-friendly web interface available via our SmartMATE Dashboard. We are the perfect partner for integration of Machine translation in any workflow, as we have the in-house team to develop engines, the technology to deliver it and the language resources to introduce a “human-in-the-loop” program when required

We have qualified, vetted and connected over 2000 professional interpreters with LiveLINK, which allows us to provide a range of different solutions, such as on-demand 24×7 voice and video interpreting (including BSL), consecutive interpreting via collaboration tools or integration with call centre platforms.

Our API can work with any type of system, regardless of your technology, whether that be your website CMS, CRM, mobile app or DMS. Our API creates a direct link to our professional translation services, easily integrating your applications directly into our translation ecosystem.
This tool provides a flexible, easy and secure solution to manage your translation workflows, and allows you to import and export content for translation at any time of day, from anywhere in the world. The central concept of the SmartMATE Workflow API is request management. A request is an API call to our system for a pre-defined translation task.
